ABOUT
Who We Are
Fierce N Fit Special Needs Charitable Organization is a Registered Charity dedicated to improving the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual well being of individuals with special needs through the sport of boxing and structured physical exercise.
We currently serve over 70 athletes each week and are supported by more than 20 volunteer coaches who help deliver our mission with compassion, professionalism and dedication. Our coaches volunteer their time, and Fierce N Fit provides a meaningful space where youth and community members can engage, contribute and give back to our community through service, leadership and mentorship.
Our program is fully inclusive and designed to meet the needs of participants with a wide range of abilities. We work with individuals with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, physical disabilities and other developmental or cognitive differences.
Why We Are Unique
We are more than a boxing program. We are a community.
Our non contact boxing sessions and fitness programs are tailored to meet diverse physical and cognitive needs. We provide a supportive environment where athletes can develop strength, coordination, confidence and social connection. Our programs include both in person and virtual training options, ensuring that all athletes have access to movement, structure and community.
Our workouts are intentionally designed to promote improved circulation, digestion, mobility and overall health while encouraging the mind and body to work together in synchrony.
In addition to training, we run a variety of social activities and events to help foster friendships, build communication skills and strengthen community bonds.
Our Coaches
All of our trainers and coaches are NCCP Certified in Coaching Athletes with a Disability. Many have formal training and experience in Special Education and are certified boxing instructors.
Our team includes more than twenty volunteer coaches who are trained to support individuals who require physical, sensory or cognitive accommodations. At Fierce N Fit Boxing, we specialize in creating an environment that empowers athletes from all walks of life. We proudly provide A Place for All.
This philosophy is the foundation of our Non Contact Boxing Program. Every athlete brings unique abilities and strengths. We measure accomplishment by how we grow together as a team. Encouragement, acceptance and mutual support define every training session. No athlete feels judged and each person benefits from a safe environment filled with positive energy and collective motivation.
Why Our Work Matters
Disability affects a significant portion of our community. More than fifteen percent of Ontarians live with a disability, and that number continues to grow as the population ages. Accessible physical exercise programs are essential for improving health, independence and overall quality of life.
Fierce N Fit Boxing is committed to providing meaningful, adaptive athletic opportunities that enhance well being, build confidence and promote inclusion. Our athletes, coaches and families demonstrate every day the powerful impact of community based sport.

My daughter has just started boxing with this amazing group of people! She absolutely loves it and I love the community vibe that we feel!!
Last night she came home and said "mom, I'm exhausted" which is exactly what I love to hear 😂
She got to participate in a zoom movie night and is starting to learn to build relationships with peers that I feel can last a lifetime!
This is a great group to have in our community!!
