Bronwyn Hersen

Director

Dr. Bronwyn Hersen is a Respirology Fellow at McMaster University. She completed her Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Western University in 2019, graduating with an Honours Specialization in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences and a Western Scholar’s Designation. She subsequently earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University before completing her Internal Medicine residency training at Queen’s University.

Beyond her clinical training, Bronwyn has been deeply involved in initiatives that promote inclusive opportunities in sport, serving in a variety of volunteer, leadership, and executive roles over many years. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong appreciation for the importance of thoughtfully designed programs that recognize the unique needs of individuals with disabilities and create meaningful opportunities for participation, engagement, and physical activity.

Bronwyn is excited to bring her experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to inclusive programming to the Fierce N Fit team. She looks forward to supporting the continued growth and development of the program and helping expand opportunities for individuals with special needs to remain active, engaged, and connected.
