Faisal Rehman

Dr. Faisal Rehman is a Professor of Medicine at the Schulich School of Medicine. He is the Clerkship Director at Western University and Site Chief for Internal Medicine at the London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital. He was Program Director for the Nephrology Residency Program at the University of Western Ontario from 2005 to 2011.
Dr. Rehman completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacology (1993) at the University of Alberta. He then went on to get his Doctor of Medicine Degree at Queen's University (1998) followed by his subspecialty certification in Nephrology at the University of Western Ontario (2003) and in 2004 received a Masters in Medical Education Degree from the University of Toronto.
He is actively involved in teaching Nephrology and Internal Medicine to medical students, residents and clinical fellows at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University.
Dr. Rehman runs a very busy clinical practice in his specialty of Nephrology. He was also Director for the Nephrology Residency Program for several years. He stood down from that position in 2011 when he took on a wider scope of responsibility as Site Chief for the Department of Medicine at University Hospital.
Dr. Rehman is also an amateur boxer and kickboxer having competed in 15 amateur bouts. He is a Level 1 Boxing Coach, NCCP Certified in Coaching Athletes with a Disability and Coaching Athletes with Down Syndrome. He has organized several combat sports events to raise money for charity. These events have raised over $2.5 million for several wonderful causes, including the Fierce N Fit Special Needs Boxing Program.
