Allie Libertini

Athlete Representative

Allie Libertini is 29 years old and has Down Syndrome. Allie studied Rec and Leisure at Conestoga College as a part of the Community Integration through Co-operative Education CICE program. She was presented with the Premier’s Award for Ontario Colleges. Allie works at the Chopped Leaf restaurant part time, doing food prep and customer service. She is a Boxer as well as participates in other Special Olympics sports, basketball, hockey, track and field and cross-country skiing. She won two silver medals for cross country skiing at the World Winter Games in Austria. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Working Centre in Kitchener. Her future goal is to live in her own apartment.
