London, Dec. 15, 23 — Dr. Faisal Rehman's Showdown in the Downtown, in collaboration with the London Health Science Centre, delivered a knockout punch to kidney disease while simultaneously supporting the Fierce N Fit Special Needs Charitable Organization with a generous donation of $25,000.
Showdown in the Downtown, an annual charity event spearheaded by Dr. Faisal Rehman, has become a beacon of hope for those battling kidney disease. This year, the event reached new heights by extending its impact beyond the realm of health, contributing significantly to the Fierce N Fit Special Needs Charitable Organization.
Fierce N Fit is a Registered Charitable Organization that utilizes the transformative power of boxing and physical exercise to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs. The organization focuses on improving the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being of its members, ensuring an inclusive and supportive community for all.
The $25,000 donation from Dr. Faisal Rehman's charity event will play a key role in sustaining and expanding the Fierce N Fit programs. The Fierce N Fit Special Needs Charitable Organization is honoured to be the recipients of this years 100 Men Who Give a Damn donation. We were presented with a check of $10,985 towards the Fierce N Fit Special Needs Charitable Organization.

Mark Erwin and Cambridge Hyundai presented the Special Needs athletes with customized boxing gloves, hats and track suits and also presented a cash check to our program. CTV Kitchener covered this event .

Showdown in the Downtown - London, ON hosts an Annual Charity Fundraiser in support of 9 different causes benefitting medical research, homelessness, poverty and vulnerable populations. Fierce N Fit Boxing is honoured to partner with PHSS Medical & Complex Care and to be a beneficiary of this annual charity fundraiser event for the second year in a row. This event provides our program with funding that helps us purchase equipment and develop programs for our special needs athletes. Our athletes also directly engage in fundraising efforts for this event to raise money for our program.
